We provide parts and service support for all makes of forklifts and keep a large inventory of parts in both locations. Our average mechanical forklift experience is 25 years. We provide 24 hour/seven day a week emergency service with an experienced factory trained mechanical force of over twenty. We are a customer service organization that provides parts, service, rental and sales along with forklift operator training. We have two locations to service the 14 counties of Western New York and parts of Pennsylvania. We offer installation services for dock construction, conveyor installs and all types of material handling and fabrication. Since that time we have grown into a single source for our customers with a diverse product offering which includes Factory Cat sweepers and scrubbers, Taylor Dunn and Columbia Par Car personnel vehicles and burden carriers, Pentalift dock equipment, Sellick rough terrain forklifts and all type of material handling products from racking to industrial supplies. At that time we changed our name to Prolift and opened a facility in Rochester, NY. The year 2000 was a significant year for Prolift as we were awarded the Caterpillar forklift line for both the Buffalo marketplace as well as the Rochester marketplace. At that time we were a CLARK and Daewoo dealer. By the year 1997 the company had become an ESOP (Employee Stock Ownership Plan) Company. It was that same year, 1994, that we took on the Daewoo forklift line that had recently split from Caterpillar as a contracted partner to manufacturer forklifts. Shortly thereafter we opened a branch in Jamestown, NY which stayed open until 1994. Prolift started as Clarklift of Buffalo in 1975 when investors purchased the business from Brodie Industrial Trucks who had been a CLARK forklift dealers for many years.
